Wordless Wednesday {a little late}

Sneak Peak {warning...it's a work in progress}

Here's a sneak peak of our new house.  I took these earlier tonight, mess and all.  Consider these the "before" photos.  HA!!!

Our entry

 Our dining room that isn't really big enough to be a dining room.  We are still trying to get creative with this room.  Currently, it's the place we throw stuff when we don't know where else it should go.

 The office, which has yet to be unpacked other than the computer

 The family room,  we want to drywall over the big niche and hang the mirror that's there.  I have some sconces picked out to flank the mirror.  We have only 1 TV and we have that in the basement family room.  Also, I have a great console table I'm staining/painting for behind the sofa.  I am looking for some accessories to fill the shelves.   I'm also not loving the window coverings and want to eventually change them.

The kitchen...it's a work in progress.  We are doing a mini remodel.  We are going to get rid of the built in desk, have the cabinets painted and change out the backsplash and the lighting.   I am in love with my new refrigerator...I know I must be getting old to get excited about appliances.  HA!!

Moving In...

We have moved into our new house and have been crazy busy with unpacking, yard work and a mini kitchen remodel.   There are not enough hours in the day for us to get it all done.  I'm exhausted!  Jeff and I are going crazy not knowing where things are, we definitely don't like living like this and hope to get it all done soon.  

The kids have unpacked their rooms and are making new friends in the neighborhood.  I was able to find my camera and take these shots a few days ago.  Who know packing paper could be so much fun?

Lucy's New Wheels

Last week we were out shopping and Lucy saw this cute bike and said she wanted a "big girl" bike and was ready to learn to ride.  This of course, made Jeff super happy.  He's been wanting to teach Lucy to ride for about 2 years, but she just was not into it.  Now, she's off and riding on her new wheels!!!

Please, don't comment on the fact she's not wearing a helmet.  Her helmet is in storage and we didn't go off the grass.  :)

Update {from the great Northwest}

We are keeping busy while we're waiting to close on our house...

 and we're enjoying our new camo suit...

We're been having fun exploring our new surroundings.  Miss Olivia is in school...yep, we went to sign her up for next year and the principal invited her to finish out the last 2.5 weeks of the school year.  She is making friends and enjoying it.  We are really proud of her, she has jumped right in.  Only 15 more days until we close on our house!!!
