1st Run of the Season!!!
Sometimes watching your children play sports is so exciting and fun, other times it's just brutally painful. Well, so far this summers baseball season has been brutally painful. Jack's team is "the bad news bears" every week they get slaughtered....I'm talking like 27-0, it's bad. The team hasn't scored any runs all season and we're half-way through.
Saturdays game Jack got up to bat and hit a single. The next kid up to bat was also lucky enough to get a hit and Jack made it to second base, then third, barely..... the other team over- threw the ball. Jeff and I, the coach and the rest of team were screaming for Jack to RUN home....he gave it all he had and came across home plate. Everyone went wild....one of the best moments ever!!! He was so proud of himself. We lost 3-1 but, it was an awesome game!!!

Lucys Kindergarten Graduation
Lucy wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up. :)
Lucy and Mrs Grossnickle
Today was Lucy's Kindergarten Graduation!!! Whew, I really don't know how much for of this I can take. Both my girls having milestones in the past two days. I am so sad to see my babies growing up.
When I looked at Lucy today all I could think about was that sweet, scared one-year old that we met in China 5 1/2 years ago. Lucy has come so far and has truly melted her way into the hearts of everyone who knows her. She is sweet, funny and smart. We are blessed to call her daughter and sister.
Good job Lucy!!!
Jacks Year-End Presentations
We can't forget about Jack during this week of both his sisters having graduation ceremonies. Jack had a presentation on Japan that he had been working on for weeks. He was also able to share his poetry writings that he had been working on all year. Everyone in his class did an excellent job on their country presentations and their poetry. Jack has worked really hard this year!! Good job Jack!!

6th Grade Continuation
Olivia had 6th Grade Continuation today. It was a great ceremony. Our principal spoke and gave the students words of wisdom to carry throughout their education. Our teacher spoke about each and every student and what she loves about him or her. It was touching and yes, I had to hold back the tears. There was also a movie made with photos throughout the year and it included baby photos of each student. I can't believe how fast time is passing by.
Congratulations Olivia on all your accomplishments!!! Good luck in Middle School!!!

Happy Fathers Day!!!
We had a fun-filled Fathers Day. We started the day with a charity walk for Parkinsons. We went swimming and then to The Melting Pot for a yummy fondue dinner.
6th Grade Grad Party
Olivia has her 6th Grade Continuation tomorrow morning. This past weekend we were invited to a 6th grade graduation party. One of the families invited ALL the 6th graders and their parents over for a BBQ and games to celebrate. We had a great time!!! Olivia had an amazing teacher and class this year. I'm sad to see it come to an end. I plan on bringing lots of tissues for tomorrow's ceremony.
