Thanksgiving 09

Happy Thanksgiving! We had a great time this year having Thanksgiving at our house. Jeff's sister, Diane and her husband Rick and their boys came to celebrate with us. We had all my favorite foods including wassil, sweet potato souffle and pot de creme for dessert...yummy! Olivia has been attending Cotillion and last week she learned how to set a "proper" table...so she set the table for us and it was beautiful. Here are some photos of our fun day.

I can't believe how fast time is passing by....it seems like just yesterday Olivia was a baby, now she's a pre-teen. I am so proud of Olivia. We changed tracks at our school this past year and Olivia has had to make new friends. I am impressed with the friends she has chosen. As a parent you pray your children will surround themselves with good friends who will lift them up.

Olivia has been attending Cotillion the past 5 weeks and she won't admit it but, she loves it. In 2 weeks is the Cotillion finale where Jeff and I will have the opportunity to see what she has learned. We are excited for her to share with us and we can't wait to take photos and video. We love you Livs!

It's 4:00....... Where's the Doodle??

Everyday, at 4:00 (the time school gets out) Daisy goes and looks out the window to wait for Olivia, Jack and Lucy. The school is only 1 block away and Daisy seems to know they will be home soon. I think it's just the cutest thing and yesterday I was lucky enough to get a photo of Daisy looking out the window waiting for the kids.

Mama's Getaway!

I went to see my friend, Suzanne last weekend in Southern California.  3 days with no hubby, no kids, no dog, no exchange student.......it was an amazing weekend!  Here is a photo of me that says it all!!!!!!
