I changed some close-up photos of the kids and Jeff to black and white.  I have always loved the look of black and white photos, they are timeless.

1st BIG Snow!

We got a HUGE snowstorm yesterday and today.....we are at a little over 2 feet and it's still snowing.  It's supposed to stop tonight.  The kids had a great time playing in the snow today, with all the neighborhood kids.  Here they are on the big hill next to the school.

Lucy's letter to me...

 This morning Lucy got out the crayons and said she was going to write me a letter.  A few minutes later, she hands me this.....

Translation....I love mom.  You are pretty.  And she has pretty shoes.  

That's MY GIRL!!!  I LOVE IT!!!!!!  Awwww!!

Lucy's 6th Birthday and Gotcha Day Anniversary!

These are photos from Lucy's 6th Birthday celebration.  We took Lucy and her friend, Addy to Build- A -Bear and got some Chinese take out.  Lucy wanted to celebrate her "GOTCHA DAY" by eating her favorite.... Chinese dumplings.  I always say, "you can take the girl out of China but, you can't take the China out of the girl."  We are so blessed to have sweet Lucy as our daughter.  I still can't believe she's been with us for 5 years.  She has given us way more than we could ever give her.  We love you Lucy!

Mountain Weekend

We went to Keystone last week for fall break.  We had a fun and relaxing time, hiking in the mountains, shopping in Breckenridge  and swimming in the indoor pool in the evenings.  We stayed at Jeff's sister, Diane's condo and we were able to bring Daisy.  Daisy had so much fun playing in the river and then snow.  We celebrated Lucy's Birthday while we were there, I will post those photos later.  Enjoy!
