Happy Chinese New Year!

2013 the year of the snake!

Last night was Winter Formal!

I thought it would be fun for Olivia and Capucine to invite some friends over for pizza before the dance.

They had so much fun!

I took this photo last night.

Lucy was playing in my closet and she had on a pair of my high heals and my hat.

I had just gotten out of the bath and I quickly grabbed my camera, closed the doors and told Lucy to open the doors and walk through.

I captured this photo and I love it!

I love the low light, the timeless feel and the symbolism it portrays.

Big changes are coming again for our family.

We are looking forward to opening some new doors and embracing what lies ahead.

This year I decided it would be fun to make Lucy's Valentines rather than buy them.

Last weekend was cold and snowy, so I decided to play around with some indoor shots.

I set up a make-shift indoor studio.

Here's just a sampling of some ideas for Lucy's Valentines cards.

These Christmas socks are now Valentines socks. :)
