Old Man Winter

Old man winter decided to show up this week.  We have snow, lots of snow!  

Here are some photos over the past two days.

 I realize this looks like Lucy was shoveling late at night, but in reality this was taken at about 4:30 pm.  It gets dark here really early.

 This is Jack this morning before school.  The kids had a two hour delayed start.  They were not happy.  They were so hoping for a snow day.  :(

As you can tell, it's starting to pile up.  

Now, I'm off to pour myself another hot chai tea.  

Cookies with Lu

Last Saturday night Olivia was babysitting, Jack was at a friends house and Jeff and I were home with just Lucy.  This is a rare occasion and let me tell you....Lucy loves it!  She loves our undivided attention. 

We ordered pizza and decided to make some No Bake Cookies.  

Lucy enjoys helping out in the kitchen.  She's a real pro!

Jeff and I both enjoy getting a little one on one time each of the kids.  

It's these little moments I don't want to forget.  

Sometimes a boring Saturday night can turn into something really fun not to mention, delicious!
